Secure World Foundation

Secure World Foundation (SWF) is a leading voice on the importance of space sustainability, reaching audiences around the world and among many different actors. For nearly two decades, SWF has led important research into sustainability issues, providing key inputs into international discussions and initiatives at a variety of commercial and political levels. Through the Summit, SWF has also created a new forum where key actors can exchange views regarding space sustainability on common ground, facilitating cooperation and understanding that cuts across social, economic, and geopolitical lines.

SWF has hosted five previous editions of the Summit, including in-person editions in Washington, DC in 2019, London in 2022, and New York City in 2023. The Summit has grown each year, bringing key figures from industry, academia, and government to share their insight with a growing audience. Last year, the Summit in New York featured growth in virtual attendees (500+) and 272 in-person attendees from 49 countries.

The National Space Policy Secretariat of the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan

This year’s conference is co-hosted with the National Space Policy Secretariat of the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan. The National Space Policy Secretariat of the Cabinet Office and the Committee on National Space Policy advises on strategic budgetary allocation guidelines concerning space policy to ministries and agencies every year. Their purpose is to strengthen efficiency and cooperation among ministries and agencies.
